Can't stop smiling (:

Why does every status update on fb, every tweet on twitter and every post on tumblr have to be negative? Whenever i sign onto any social network i belong to all i see is things like; i hate my job, screw school, you're a jerk, why does my life suck... Why is it so hard to put out into the world things like; best mood ever, its a beautiful day, just heard a good joke, etc. Who cares if it sounds lame ! Our world is extremely pessimistic, don't be afraid to add a little optimism. :)

       If you know me, you know I'm a very opinionated person. And i don't normally keep my opinions to myself. However when I do voice my opinion, I don't shoot down other's opinions, and I only give my opinion if asked.

     The thing about an opinion ... is that it is exactly that, an opinion. Its not a fact, its not something that you can research, its an idea you have formed in relation to a topic. For example I really like Transformers; that is my opinion. I realise that some people don't like Transformers, that they think Megan Fox is a terrible actress, that the animators used the CG too much, that Shia Labeouf doesn't have the right 'look' for the male lead ... the list goes on and on. And I agree with a couple of those things ... like Megan Fox (thank God she won't be in the 3rd one), but I still think that Transformers is an amazing movie. And that is my opinion.

    When I offer my opinion I respect that some people are going to argue with it, the part that I don't understand is the blatant rudeness that people give their opinions with. They shoot down others opinions, calling them 'wrong'. How can you have a wrong opinion? Its an opinion ! You can persuade someone to change their opinion but you can't tell them that their opinion is wrong.
